Prescott Passive House
This week, nearly all of the framing for the Prescott Passive House was completed, beginning with a single wall and ending with the rafters high above our heads. Exterior plywood sheathing is also significantly underway. Preparation for stucco along the outside perimeter of the basement as well as framing for the front deck also took place this week. Just before yet another Kansas snowstorm, students closed down the site on Friday evening to enjoy dinner and the kindest of welcomes from Prescott Neighborhood President Greg Take and his family after a very long week. We aim to finish sheathing the exterior of the house at the beginning of week twelve as the snow on the ground from the storm begins to melt.
