Prescott Passive House
Charging full speed ahead, students cast a lightweight concrete slab on the first floor this Monday. The pre-cut engineered lumber made it to the site the following day and in between rainstorms, students were able to assemble and tilt the walls into place. The beginnings of other systems like electrical, hvac and plumbing have begun to appear as well. Other pursuits that have taken place inside the basement inculde sealing and insulating the soffit as well as building 2x2 furring to prepare the ICF basement walls to receive gypsum wall board. Back at the warehouse, the concrete stair treads have been cast and the louver system has been prepared for galvanizing.
