We examined different options for how the cumaru rain-screen attaches to the building. Several mock-ups were created to get a better understanding of the structure, difficulty of assembly, and overall aesthetics.
The wood we received from the Sunflower Ammunition Plant was processed at the warehouse in preparation to frame the walls in the basement. The sheathing was de-nailed and the lumber was cut to uniform lengths, removing the unusable ends. Afterward, the material was transported to the site.
