Despite the rainy weather this week, we have continued to make exceptional progress in the construction of 3716 Springfield. We meet in Kansas City every morning to discuss the progress of the project and the plans for the day. Most recently we stripped the forms from our concrete footings and immediately began setting up the formwork for our foundation walls. On Friday, we braced all the forms and we were able to pour all of the concrete for our foundation walls.
As we move forward with the construction we are simultaneously exploring design options for materials used on the interior of the house. When designing for a LEED-Platinum home it is important to consider every detail of the material that we utilize in the building. We are continually making contacts with companies who are interested in sustainable design to work with us and support the green initiative.
