With the steel of the stair-core complete, the next step was to install the glass provided by Tristar Glass. The glass covers the steel frames on both sides and overlaps one another in a ‘fish-scale’ design. All-thread fed through penetrations in the steel frame hold the glass in place with acorn nuts as the finished terminus. The skylight above the core provides enough light that the core emits a subtle, but beautiful glow.
