The steel structure that makes up the stair-core was carefully set in place.  Three pieces connect on each floor to make a ‘C’ opening to the south.  Each welded frame is composed of steel tube provided by EXLTube.  Landings on the first and basement level catch the stairs, which were finished before installation for ease of application.  An additional run of steel was set in between the stairs from the basement to the second floor to hold our handrails.
