The first glimpse of our driveway came this week as we prepared the area for pervious concrete.  The ground from the edge of the garage all the way to the sidewalk was excavated to a depth of approximately two feet.  A geotextile fabric was laid across the furrow and covered by gravel until it reached approximately eighteen inches in depth.  Temporarily, the gravel serves as a mud-free path to enter the house on rainy days.
