The construction of our HVAC system got started with assembling the duct work. All the ducts for both supply and return were run throughout the house via a chase which connects to the mechanical room. Around each joint and seam a low VOC duct mastic was applied as a sealant. This discourages air leakage at possibly vulnerable areas and therefore increases energy efficiency.
