The next layer we applied to the building is a Vaproshield product. This is an important layer underneath our rain screen cladding that allows moisture to escape, preventing the accumulation of mold, mildew and rot. The exterior of the house is wrapped in this breathable membrane to reduce the risk of condensation and promote the escape of moisture through the envelope.
