The beginning half of week twenty was spent perfecting every last detail of our project in Greensburg.  We made certain every piece of green glass offered a clear reflection, the floors and carpets were left spotless, the white walls shined neat and elegantly, and the exterior conditions were cleared of any excess materials.  We proceeded to gather our personal belongings and check out of the dorms at Pratt Community College, where we have been living now for two months.  The staff there has been exceptionally accommodating in dealing with our outrageous schedules, and we are grateful for their efforts.      

For the remainder of the week, the 22 of us made the journey back to Lawrence, where we attempted to resettle into our homes for a brief moment before our family and friends joined us for the weekend’s graduation festivities.  Commencement was held on Sunday, May 18th. We gathered in our regalia for a final photograph as graduates of the University of Kansas School of Architecture and Urban Planning.   

A special thanks to all of the companies we worked with, families we met, and friends we made in Greensburg and the surrounding communities.  This has been one experience we will never forget and your kindness and generosity made our process only that much easier and enjoyable.  Thank you.
